Follow Spring Creek Mountain Road east past the Falls to Carr’s Lookout. Get out and admire the view over the bluff. The road goes down to Boonah. But it is challenging. In some parts it is one lane. The road goes past the White Swamp turnoff. The White Swamp Road is gravel and can be a bit rough. It is being used as a detour while work is being done on the Head Road. The name comes from the head of the Condamine River which is near Wilson’s Peak AKA Jirrumon. Travel through Carney’s Creek and Mt Alford to Boonah.
