Steve and Karen Carey have been the proud owners of the Killarney Butchery since 4 July 2016. They provide their customers with quality, locally grown beef, pork and lamb from Killarney and the surrounding district.
At the 2017 AMIC Qld Ham, Bacon Jerky & Smallgoods Competition Killarney Butchery won 1st prize for their Peppered Cabanossi and 3rd place for Wood smoked Bacon. As this competition was the first Steve had entered, he was both proud and humbled to have walked away with these awards. Both the cabanossi and the bacon are cooked and smoked on the premises and are fast becoming a favourite with the customers.
Their Christmas Hams are also a much sort after product as the festive season approaches. Again these are cooked and smoked on the premises by Steve and he takes much pride in being able to supply a quality product that customers keep coming back for.
